About Business Ready (B-READY)

Business Ready (B-READY) is the World Bank Group’s flagship report benchmarking the business environment and investment climate in economies worldwide. B-READY succeeded the World Bank’s Doing Business report. It assesses the regulatory framework, public services and operational efficiency across ten topics. The Financial Services topic covers commercial lending, electronic payments, secured transactions and credit reporting.

Data are collected through expert questionnaires and firm-level surveys. The B-READY 2026 Electronic Payments questionnaire assesses the regulatory framework for payment service providers, including risk management, operational resilience, consumer protection, transparency, interoperability and supervisory oversight.

Once the B-READY 2026 report is published later in 2026, ECOVIS ProventusLaw will share the report’s main findings for Lithuania.
