Brigida Bacienė is an Associate Partner and Head of the Employment Practice Group at ECOVIS ProventusLaw with 14 years of legal practice experience. Brigida underwent traineeship in a German law firm Graf von Westphalen, Wirtschaftsprufer, Steuerberater Partnerschaft.

She specializes in Data protection, Labour law, Media and Advertising, Intellectual Property, Tax, TMT, Dispute resolution and Competition Law.

Brigida is a Certified as an Information Privacy Professional/Europe by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Due to her knowledge of data protection Brigida provides Data Protection Officer services for financial institutions.

Moreover, B. Bacienė helps companies regarding the strategies related to their employees, represents employers in cases related to unfair competition concerning existing or former employees, termination of employment contracts, and represents clients in courts and other institutions. She also conducted the legal due diligence of labour law compliance of one of the largest companies providing client relations management services, which has about 800 employees.

B. Bacienė has experience and knowledge in telecommunications and IT. She advises telecommunications and IT companies operating in Lithuania to acquire these companies’ information technology systems, licenses and know-how protection. She has been involved in developing strategic values in IT systems and their sale to public authorities. Brigida helps to lead companies in Lithuania regarding the IT system development strategies, the contract’s conclusion, and the clients in court.

For several years, Brigida has provided training sessions on labour law, intellectual property, and data protection topics. Training involves training clients’ staff on issues relevant to individual clients and opening seminars for all interested persons.
