Beyond ESG Compliance: Leveraging CSRD Reporting for Business Growth

Ecovis ProventusLaw, in collaboration with Ecovis Germany and the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania (AHK), is organizing a webinar on the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD) and its impact on businesses.

The CSRD is a new EU legislation that requires large companies and public-interest entities to disclose ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information consistently and comparably. The reporting standard includes a general requirement on the company’s sustainability governance and ESG-skilled and accountable board members responsible for sustainability.

“As investors and consumers increasingly consider ESG factors in their decisions, it’s becoming more important for companies to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices,” says Inga Karulaitytė, partner and attorney-at-law at Ecovis ProventusLaw. “Preparing for CSRD reporting all the compliance framework of the company, can help businesses identify and address sustainability risks and opportunities, leading to improved performance and competitive advantage. This is especially important for those in the value chain, as their compliance can significantly impact the sustainability performance of their and the other companies.”

During the webinar, ESG experts from Lithuania and Germany will present the new upcoming CSRD reporting requirements, including the importance of compliance with ESG requirements to the value chain and how businesses can increase their competitive advantage by following these standards.

The webinar is an excellent opportunity for businesses and business consultants to learn about the upcoming changes in the directive and prepare for compliance with the new requirements.
