Lithuanian Parliament has adopted a new Labour Code of the Republic of Lithuania on 14th September 2016. The Labour Code will enter into force from 1st January 2017 (if the effective date is not postponed). The main aim of new legislation is to liberalise work regulation and pursue more flexible relations between the employers and the employees.
On the basis that the new Labour Code is already adopted, employers should already start reviewing company documentation and start amending them according to the provision of the new Labour Code.
ECOVIS ProventusLaw will advise on how to adapt business processes in order to comply with the latest regulatory changes related to the non-competition, confidential information and personal data.
